notam x = b + c, y = c + a , z = a + b si inegalitatea devine pentur x, y, z > 0
(y+z-x)/x + (x+z-y)/y + (x+y-z)/z ≥ 3 si mai departe
(y/x + x/y) + (z/x + x/z) + (z/y + y/z) ≥ 6 ceea ce este adevarat deoarece pentru orice x si y mai mari decat 0 avem:
