Avem douăzeci de kilograme de castraveți care conțin 99% apă. Îi lăsăm în depozit, iar ei se deshidratează. Câte kilograme mai avem când castraveții conțin 98% apă?

10 kilograme. Dat fiind că e o problemă de logică matematică, nu una de chimie fizică, trebuie să observăm că partea solidă a castraveților a rămas la aceeași greutate, dar de data asta reprezintă 2%. Prin urmare, cantitatea totală a scăzut la jumătate – 10 kilograme. Altfel spus, cele 200 gr. de materie solidă reprezintă 2% din 10 kilograme, deci mai avem 10 kilograme de castraveți. |
