Rugămintea adresată celor care ştiu deja problema (disponibilă în toate manualele de şah de altfel) este să nu le strice plăcerea de a descoperi soluţia şi celorlalţi.
Albul mută şi dă mat (într-o secvenţă de mutări forţate, foarte spectacutoasă pentru începători). |

Varianta principală:
Dc4 (şah) - Rh8
Cf7 (şah) - Rg8
Ch7 (şah dublu) - Rh8
Dg8 (şah - Albul sacrifică dama) - Txg8
Cf7 (mat sufocat)
Secvenţa este forţată. Dacă regele negru mută pe f8 la unul din şahuri, va fi dat mat cu Df7. |
